To My Alpha Phi Sisters . . .

David: Your willingness to suffer through the Alpha Phis’ recruitment video is truly selfless journalism. I had, myself, jotted down a thought or two on the subject, but you beat me to them. I confess, it’s probably because I watched the video several times. You know, to be thorough.

Briefly, though, as an addendum to your first point: It is surely an irony lost on Ms. Bailey that demanding other women conform to her vision of womanhood might be, in her words, a bit “homogeneous and forced.”

I’d like to think that I am much more open-minded, and that I would be willing to get to know each Alpha Phi sister personally. In fact, if any Alpha Phis are reading, I’m available to do so. Very, very available. . .
