The Corner

The University Bookman . . .

. . . is a dear institutional friend of NR, of some 55 years. Founded by the late Russell Kirk, and currently edited by Gerald Russello, the Bookman remains an important and vibrant locus for intelligent conservative thought, where books that diagnose the modern age and support the renewal of culture and the common good are discussed and reviewed. For example, check out Ian Tuttle’s review of Arthur Melzer’s book, Philosophy Between the Lines: The Lost History of Esoteric Writing. If you like brainy and good stuff, visit early and often.
