It looks like gay-rights people and the LDS church have come to a compromise with this proposed new legislation that protects the rights of gay people and religious people. Religious-liberty experts will need to analyze this, but I was told that it appears to have some protections for the Eric Moutsoses of the world. If so, it would be a new legislative breakthrough.
