Former Obama administration green-jobs czar Van Jones doesn’t think voters on the left are ready to accept Hillary Clinton as the de facto Democratic nominee.
Jones told George Stephanopoulos on This Week Sunday that Elizabeth Warren is “the name that is actually on the lips of every grassroots Democrat.” Though Warren has repeatedly averred that she is not running, Jones insisted that there is a great hunger for her candidacy “at the grassroots, where people actually matter, where people actually vote.”
“There is thunder on the left,” he continued, saying that Hillary Clinton has to deal with the fact that she is in a “different world when it comes to economics.”
