Very Flat, Iowa

Off to Iowa this morning. No, not running for POTUS, just booked for some talks (Poli Sci & Math) at Buena Vista University. This will be only my second visit ever to the Hawkeye State. I drove through in 1975. Vague recollection of many, many grain silos.

Iowa is pretty darn flat, lowest point to highest only 1,190 feet. Amazingly (seems to me), nine states are flatter.
