Has anyone else found themselves in a YouTube or Reddit wormhole, where you start acquiring knowledge about a hobby in which you have minimal experience? The one enriching thing on the internet seems to be that if you want to learn to do anything that lots of people do, there are endless resources now. Want to make inset cabinets in your garage? There are literally scores of videos on YouTube showing you exactly how.
Of course, the deadening thing is if you become addicted to videos about a hobby and never try it yourself.
The algorithm has put woodworking and “aquascaping” on my radar. What about you?
