Here’s a perfect example of the sort of thing we’ve been talking about a lot around here. This Seattle Times columnist asserts from the get-go that she simply speaks for every single American woman, period. No caveats. And, she says, they are all terrified just like her. In fact, all women “pace like caged animals every time they hear ‘Supreme Court’ and ‘nominee,’” because they all define their existence purely in terms of the continued existence of Roe v. Wade.

The left fairly screams bloody murder when Christian conservatives claim to speak for all Christians and yet countless female (and black) liberals don’t even wince at their absolute right to speak for millions of people who don’t agree with them. It’s just so lame, ignorant and clichéd.
