Wanted: Silver Stake

The NY Times is saying there is indeed a deal to bring the undead amnesty bill back, after Fourth of July recess. The knavish trick this time will be to point to a request for $4.4 billion in supplemental spending as evidence that Washington is committed to “securing this border once and for all,” as the president is reported to have put it. You know what they say: The check is in the mail, Islam is a religion of peace, and Sure, I’ll enforce the immigration laws!
