WaPo/ABC Poll Shows Obama Ahead, But Sample Leans Democrat

President Obama is at 50 percent and Mitt Romney is at 47 percent in today’s Washington Post/ABC News tracking poll of likely voters. The partisan breakdown, per Chris Cillizza, is 35 percent Democrat, 32 percent independent, and 29 percent Republican. That means it’s showing the results for an electorate nearly the same as 2008′s, when Democrats had an unprecedented (in modern history) seven point advantage.
