This is one of the most powerful Christian witnesses I’ve ever seen. May God bless and comfort these dear people.

It’s times like this when the Biblical order comes most sharply into focus. This incredible act of forgiveness exists side-by-side with the state’s God-ordained role as His “agent of wrath” — of punishment — for those who practice evil. The victims have forgiven, but the state must not.
