I’m not sure what Piers Morgan’s intentions were in asking Rick Santorum about his children at great length tonight — or why exactly he asked the former Pennsylvania senator and current contender for the Republican nomination for president whether or not he considers homosexuality a sin (Morgan appeared to be suggesting that being a Catholic who actually agrees with his Church is bigoted) — but the senator’s answers reflected a courage of conviction in a graceful and unflinching way.
