MSNBC’s Chris Matthews admonished Rep. Tim Ryan, who ran and lost against Nancy Pelosi for the House Minority Leadership, for using an ethnic slur in an interview this week.
Ryan said, ”So, you can still maintain a level of pragmatism even though you may drink, you know, not the Dago Red wine in Youngstown, but, you know, some kinds of fancy Napa Valley wine.”
Matthews quickly responded, “You know, I wouldn’t use the phrase Dago Red too often.”
