Lots of excitement over here in Baghdad for the election! (I am a former
White House attorney who left for Iraq to help the reconstruction efforts.)
The returns will likely start rolling in here around 3 or 4am. I work in
one of Saddam’s former palaces and my friends and I are staying up all night
to celebrate. Is there a more rewarding place to be in the world than one
of Saddam’s old lairs, ringing in a Bush victory?? Methinks not. Only
downside: we are stuck watching BBC and CNN World for coverage. Eh.
