Helen Thomas is an alumna of Wayne State University in Detroit. They have named a “spirit of diversity” award after her: the annual Helen Thomas Spirit of Diversity Award. But now, as we see here, they are reconsidering the naming. I think this is a sign of the hysterical overreaction to Thomas’s comments. She is all for diversity: She invited Jews to go to Poland, to Germany, to America – and “everywhere else.” Diversity, thy name is Helen.
