I’m working on another piece for later today, this one on the Shelley Sekula Gibbs race in the 22nd District of Texas (the old DeLay district). After doing one on Burns, and before that one on Florida 16 (the old Foley district), I realize I have been trending toward what might be called left-for-dead races. They’re sometimes the most interesting — and each one might end up as an unexpected victory for Republicans.
