Your correspondent who wrote, “I guess the Yankees can’t handle a week
or two of 95+ weather.” Please remind her that every time a snowflake
shows itself south of the Mason-Dixon line, schools close, whole states
shut down, and everyone crashes their cars. Not to mention runs on snow
shovels, toilet paper, and canned goods!
