Webb Site

James Webb is so “uncomfortable talking about his personal story even if doing so could help him unseat Republican Sen. George Allen”–as the Washington Post reports in wide-eyed admiration today–that his campaign website doesn’t mention it at all or display any pictures from ‘Nam or anything. So don’t go looking for a description of how he won a bunch of medals or finished first in his class at Marine school. Because you definitely won’t find it there. Webb prefers to be bunkered deep inside his comfort zone. (Hat tip: Greg Pollowitz of Sixers.)
