The soda vending machine on my floor of the hotel I’m staying in doesn’t take cash or coins, only credit cards. Twenty years ago we would have said the true sign of a cashless society is when vending machines stop taking currency. Or maybe we wouldn’t have. I dunno. I just think it’s weird.
