Well, Alrighty Then: It’s a Referendum

A vote for any Democrat is a vote for the Obama agenda. From The Hill (via “Morning Jolt,” which all sentient creatures subscribe to):

The president suggested the outcome of key elections next Tuesday could determine the fate of his legislative priorities.

The president stopped short of saying next week’s election is a referendum on his policies, but suggested the outcome of key elections next Tuesday could determine the fate of his agenda.

“My name may not be on the ballot, but our agenda for moving forward is on the ballot, and I need everybody to turn out,” Obama said Tuesday afternoon during an appearance on the Rev. Al Sharpton’s radio show.

Of course, he says this only to black and very liberal audiences, but if memory serves, the transitive property holds that if it’s true on Al Sharpton’s radio show, it’s true everywhere.

As Jim notes, Democrats with constituents who don’t listen to Al Sharpton’s no-doubt edifying radio show are desperate to prove that a vote for them is not a vote for the Obama-Pelosi agenda. Good to have the president’s testimony otherwise.
