This trend is to be discouraged. I had been ashamed to admit it until now, but I was the “man of honor” at my sister’s wedding last year. It was hell for all concerned. Staying up late decorating was bad enough but the worst part was that it put a woman, my brother-in-laws’ sister, in charge of planning the bachelor party. I hope we’ve heard the last of this.
Of course, from a female perspective, a bride might love the idea of her groom having a best gal, given this bachelor-party point….
