The College Football Playoff games yesterday were evidence for my (granted, over-stated) belief that you could do worse than select the top-four teams in the SEC every year. It was nice to try to believe in Cincinnati, but they were completely overmatched, and Michigan got dominated, too. It’s kind of a letdown that the championship will be a re-match of the SEC championship game, but you can’t argue that Alabama and Georgia are undeserving — after all, they’re the top two teams in the SEC.
