As usual, VDH makes a number of interesting and thoughtful observations, but he appears to have omitted the most important point. Obama has never served in the military. And we all know that someone who’s never served in the military has no right to advocate for–much less order–American troops into harm’s way. Otherwise someone would surely call him a predatory poltroon.
