The period for submitting public comments to the Department of Health and Human Services on the HHS mandate closed last week, but you can still submit comments on the mandate (and/or religious freedom generally) to the U.S.Commission on Civil Rights until April 21 by e-mailing them to publiccomments@usccr.gov.
Does the mandate burden your free exercise of religion? Is the mandate necessary to protect women against discrimination? Is the Obama administration’s accommodation reasonable?
Your comments will inform the commission’s report on these matters.
