I’m delighted Jonah linked to my post at the AEI blog, but I am guilty of sloppy wording (In a blog post? Really?). I showed a graph about white adults and then followed it with the sentence, “They [people in the White House] really think that the rest of America thinks as they do.” In my own mind, but it was not clear in my prose, I was thinking of a broader syndrome among the Obamites, not about the one particular slice that was illustrated by the graph. I don’t actually think that “the rest of America” consists of non-Latino whites ages 30–49.
