What Only Murders in the Building Says about Our Culture

Steven Martin, Selena Gomez, and Martin Short in Only Murders In the Building (Hulu/YouTube)

Over on the NR YouTube Channel, Brent Buterbaugh interviews Dr. Joseph Griffith, a professor of politics at The King’s College in New York City, to discuss the hit TV show Only Murders in the Building. Griffith compares it to Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window and contends that the TV show demonstrates some of the consequences of an individualistic society and that 19th century writer Alexis de Tocqueville may hold the solutions to this same challenge.
