Let’s hope they were just being careless, but the folks over at the American Prospect have included Hostage to Khomeini, a book published by the Lyndon LaRouche organization, on their list of recommended books. It’s not such a stretch to believe in a vast rightwing conspiracy if you also endorse the view that the Islamic Revolution in Iran was a British plot and the Iranian seizure of hostages an inside job by the Carter administration. They must have been smoking dope. Of course, in Queen Elizabeth II, they’d have a good supplier…
