What Would George Make of John and Barack?

“Sick of attack ads, spinning, mindless partisanship?” Rick Brookhiser writes in What Would the Founders Do?  “The founders hated it as much as you do.  They also invented it.”

Today on the Uncommon Knowledge interview with Rick, I ask what the Founders would make of the campaign of 2008.  I also ask the author of George Washington on Leadership what the first president would make of the candidates to become the the forty-fourth.

Rick has a lot of fun with the questions.  He also dispenses some genuine illumination.

See for yourself.
