It’s a felony to be an illegal alien in Mexico! This story highlights Mexico’s double standard on immigration, as does this paper my Center published a couple years back on Mexico’s own southern border, and this recent paper from Frank Gaffney’s shop on the strict immigration rules in Mexico’s constitution (for instance, it’s prohibited for non-citizens to engage in any political activity, including demonstrations). So, maybe passing strict immigration laws is another job we should import Mexicans to do.
