(As they apparently were.) Odd to see the word “mistress” getting such an airing. Surely it implies something more settled than the flings, trysts, & assignations Tiger Woods has been having. Perhaps we have reverted to the old schoolboy-joke definition: “The person you find between a mister and a mattress.”
