‘When my home got broken into, I felt it was my duty to do something else’

An Ohio mom, Kelley Williams-Bolar, has been sentenced to ten days in jail for using her father’s address to get her daughters into a better, safer school. There has to be a better way. Parents need to be able to have choices. Students deserve a chance. And, as in the District of Columbia — which John Boehner and Joe Lieberman get and the president ought to — it can also mean life and death.
