I finally went with a Logitech Orbit MP webcam, in spite of all my misgivings about Logitech in general, and some snarky comments in the online reviews about its face tracking feature. (They’re right, the face tracking feature stinks.) Every webcam in my price range had some negatives; this is the one I judged least bad. The range of comments in online reviews is anyway disorienting. For THE SAME PRODUCT you get geek A saying “This is a total piece of dreck,” while geek B says “greatest thing since [stuff] came off the shovel.” Well, this is what I ended up with. Derb TV is on its way… maybe.
