Which side is the British Foreign Office on?

Policy Exchange, a new British think-tank, has just published a bombshell series of leaked British Foreign Office documents showing how our ally in the war on terror—or at least its professional diplomats—seek to engage the Islamists who have both engaged in violence and worked so hard to undermine Arab liberals. If only we could legitimize our allies in the region as much as we do our adversaries. Let’s hope the State Department isn’t doing the same.
