I feel compelled to address this message to those readers on the (R)ight side of the ageless dogs vs. cats divide: don’t let Cosmo’s pitch or Jonah’s continued flogging of it deter you from participating in the NRO pledge drive. At this perilous moment in American history and the future of freedom, our movement must be broad enough to include people with varying attitudes about the Great Icono–caninistic Controversy.
