First, let me say that I like the name Tommy. I mean any guy can get by with a name like Rex or Troy or Frank. But only grown men who know a thing or two about budget cutting and welfare reform can pull off “Tommy.”
Sidenote: During Thompson’s “I-was-the-last truly-successful-GOP-governor” address here, a straw poll attendee stood up on the right-side of the arena, and screamed, “I told you! The King is NOT dead! Elvis lives!!!!”
He may not be heading to the White House, but he could be heading to Graceland.
