I do wish Kerry had said something like this a few days earlier:
“This is the choice, this is the moment of accountability for America,” Kerry said. “It’s a moment where the world is watching what you’re going to do. All of the hopes and dreams of our country are on the line.”
I don’t want to overstate it, but Kerry really is the world’s candidate. According to Kerry, the world is watching to see if we’ll hold ourselves accountable for what we did wrong under Bush.
