Will on Bee

I’ve been touting Peter Wood’s new book, A Bee in the Mouth: Anger in America Now . (See Angry Talk.) Now, in a column called, “The Politics of Anger,” George Will has jumped on the Bee in the Mouth bandwagon. It’s impressive that Will, who knows so much about American history, finds Wood’s historical argument convincing. Like Wood, Will understands that anger has long had a place in American politics. But that doesn’t mean our way of mixing politics and anger hasn’t shifted. Anyway, for a great take on Wood’s “New Anger” thesis, check out George Will’s latest column.
