The most recent strikes in the Tehran and Isfahan bazaars made international headlines. Amidst the steep decline in world oil prices and economic mismanagement, the Iranian economic is teetering on the brink.

President Bush, Secretary of State Rice, Senators Obama and Biden: Is now really the time to bail out a failing economy bent not only on nuclear weapons capability, but also in building themselves as a symbol of defiance of all Western liberal democracy stands for?
