With more than 500 out of the 650 seats in at time of posting, the BBC is calling a plurality of 306 seats for the Tories — or maybe 316 if 10 Tory-friendly Unionists are elected in Northern Ireland.
That leaves the Conservatives with more seats than Labour, but neither with a ruling majority.
Will Labour and the Lib-Dems try to form a coalition? Together they would command 317 seats, leaving the way for a potential razor thin majority.
