The Derb made a promising (even glorious) debut with that Dragon flick; unfortunately, since then (much like Orson Welles) he has fallen acutely ill with that peculiarly American disease, being famous for being famous. He’s been known to fritter and waste a lot of time on Internet websites, particularly that Hellfire’s Club known as NRO; kickin’ it high-style with a cadre of dilettantes, fops, and also-ran’s such as Jonah Goldberg, Kathryn Lopez and the sneering Andrew Stuttaford. Such an utter tragedy.
