Wis. Assembly Speaker Tells Members to Stay Away

Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald has told his members to “not even try” to make it to the assembly floor to vote on Gov. Scott Walker’s collective-bargaining bill. The assembly vote was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. this morning. Fitzgerald said they will try to take the vote today, but that the capitol is currently “unsafe” for his members.
