The Corner

Wives Will Be Writing in Soon

An e-mail:

I have read the drinking article and I am unable to find any reference to one drink, two drinks or three per day as you and your readers have somehow interpreted it. It clearly states that the “safe consumption level was considered to be 14 to 28 standard drinks a week for a man [i.e. me].” It says nothing about the need to devide that up over a period of seven days. I only drink on Friday evenings and now have authoritative evidence for my wife that the usual two six-packs is actually more than moderate. Thanks for the source.

I want feminists blaming The Corner for their Superbowl Sunday Myth next January. This is my goal for today.
