Woodward: ISIS Strategy ‘a Mess’

President Obama laid out “a mighty ambitious goal” when he said he would destroy the Islamic State, and thus far his strategy has been ineffective, says the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward.

“This is a mess,” he said on Fox News Sunday. “Obama’s clearly gone through a wake-up call — he’s got to come up with something to do here.”

One way to clean up the “mess” would be for the president and Congress to come together and develop a coherent strategy, he said. Otherwise, “we’re in for a calamity,” Woodward warned.
