The World’s Greatest Deliberative Body?

Senators have spent much of the day debating two bills that touch on embryonic stem cell research funding. They will probably vote on the two tomorrow. I wrote a bit about the bills yesterday here. Maybe it’s just the old House staffer in me, but I have to say that listening to a day of debate on the Senate floor can be enough to make you yearn for the dentist’s chair.
