Would Be Nice to See McCain Defend the Corporate Tax Cut

Here’s a pretty simple point he could have made in response to Obama’s claim that corporate tax cuts would “take money out of the system” (i.e. away from the government):

The corporate income tax is popular in part because it appears to be paid by rich corporations. Yet those who bear the ultimate burden of the tax—the customers and workers of corporations—are often not rich.

It’s not that difficult to explain how this works, but so far McCain hasn’t really tried.
