“Would It Be Appropriate for a President to Provide Secret Service Protection For His Mistress?”

That question, asked moments ago by Tim Russert to Rudy Giuliani.  Giuliani defended the New York Police Department security given to his then-girlfriend, Judith Nathan.  “Every single thing done here was done based on the assessment of someone else [security professionals] that this was necessary,” Giuliani said. “My wife Judith honestly would prefer not to have security.”
