You Don’t Say . . .

Barack Obama in his weekly radio address accused opponents of comprehensive immigration reform of rank partisan politics: “They’ll try to stoke fear and create division. They’ll try to play politics with an issue.”

He should know: Here is what he advised Latino groups before the 2010 election — in fears that they might not play enough politics with immigration. Obama urged them to adopt the following strategies: “We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.”

Whether on the issues surrounding the War on Terror, spending, the debt ceiling, the filibuster — in fact almost any issue — the indicators of Obama’s partisan demagoguing are his constant accusations that others are thinking, and must be doing, precisely what he has. After nearly five years of this, his projected moral censure has become comical.
