That’s what Chris Mathews just said to Washington Post columnist David Ignatius: “You’re too moderate for me.” Wow.
Remember the days when TV moderators were ….well, moderate? I even remember when Chris Mathews saw himself as a centrist (or claimed to). But MSNBC’s nouvelle aspiration is to be The Lefty Network. (Hence no room at the inn for Tucker Carlson. By contrast, note that Fox has Greta, Geraldo, Alan Colmes and about a dozen other liberal Dems providing commentary.)
