Zakaria’s Piffle

He writes: “It’s a time to figure out what works, not what ideological mantras to keep repeating. It’s the age of Michael Bloomberg, not Margaret Thatcher.” I have admired Zakaria’s work, but the notion that Thatcher merely kept repeating ideological mantras, whereas Bloomberg has gotten things done, is otherworldly.
