He says the Democrats’ health-care bill, if passed, would cost $940 billion and reduce the deficit by $130 billion over the next ten years. Rep. Barney Frank (D., Mass.) told NRO yesterday that the CBO numbers would be crucial in enticing wary Democrats off the fence. Without appealing CBO numbers, “we’d have a very serious problem,” he says.
