Is Harry Reid on the verge of a victory? Some health-care watchers on the Right this morning are worried, assessing that: Liberals senators are now being told, “accept the bill or kill health care reform.” Ben Nelson is the real problem for Reid and hearing that he has been theatened with the closing of his state’s air-force base during next base-closing commission and is being given a bit of a blank check — and one larger than Mary Landrieu’s. I’m also hearing that the manager’s amendment abortion language will give him cover — or at least he’ll be content it does. And, the general assumption now seems to be that after 24 hours of the Left railing against him, Lieberman is now fine.
